Refund
Hello, this is Michael, the author of Lexington Themes. I invite you to review the refund policy to understand what you can expect when you purchase a product from Lexington. These guidelines apply to all customers and to Lexington Themes.
As the products are digital goods, they cannot be “returned” in the traditional sense. This policy is designed with that in mind. Please note that while these are the standard rules, mandatory refund laws in your specific country or region will always be honored.
Before you request a refund
If you have purchased a product and are experiencing a technical issue, please reach out to me first for assistance at michaelandreuzzavega@gmail.com.
I can often help troubleshoot and resolve most issues you might encounter.
Requesting a refund
I understand that sometimes an issue cannot be resolved, or there are circumstances where a refund is the right course of action. You can expect a refund in the following situations:
- Item is “not as described” or does not work the way it should.
- Item has a security vulnerability that cannot be promptly fixed.
- Promised item support is not provided as advertised.
- The item has not been downloaded after purchase.
The product is inaccurately described or fails to function as expected.
If a product doesn’t work as intended, I am committed to fixing the issue promptly with an update. A product is considered “not as described” if it is materially different from the item description or live preview. If I cannot correct the issue or we determine the item is indeed “not as described,” you will be eligible for a refund.
The product has a security vulnerability.
If an item contains a security vulnerability that cannot be easily fixed, you are entitled to a refund. If the vulnerability is fixable, I will update the item promptly to resolve it.
Promised item support was not provided.
If I advertise a product as including item support and you do not receive that support according to our policy, you are eligible for a refund.
The item was not downloaded.
If you have not downloaded a purchased item within 14 days of your purchase, you may qualify for a refund. You will need to provide your purchase code so I can verify that the item was not downloaded.
Resolving disputes
If we cannot reach an agreement on a refund, you can raise a dispute for Lexington Themes to investigate. You may be asked to provide evidence to support your claim. We will make a fair and impartial decision based on all the information provided by both parties. You agree that this final decision will be binding.
When refunds are not provided
We are not obligated to provide refunds in the following situations:
- You changed your mind after downloading the item.
- The item did not meet your subjective expectations.
- You purchased an item by mistake.
- You do not have sufficient expertise to use the item.
- You are claiming a refund without providing sufficient information about the issue.
- If you find that the theme has a lower version than the latest release
