October 12, 2026 — Redesign

  • Mølle is redesigned from the ground up as a dark, quiet theme for prefab cabin makers, written for a hall in Mora, Sweden.
  • Homes show their cladding finishes side by side, specs, a detail photo, an SVG floor plan and a comparison table.
  • A new configurator: pick a model, a cladding and add-ons, see the total update and send it to the enquiry form.
  • New pages: add-ons, pricing, materials, configure, enquire and visit with open days and a booking form.
  • How it works has the build phases and a payment schedule; customer stories, journal and legal pages are redesigned, with legal copy written for the maker.
  • Pinned split panels that step on scroll, view transitions from cards into their pages, GSAP scenes and Lenis smooth scroll, all off under reduced motion.
  • Five colour tokens on a dark ground, Switzer type, buttons rounded by size, and every page built from section components.
  • Rewritten README.md, AGENTS.md, Cursor rules and design skill for the redesign.
  • Sign in and sign up, blog and store tags, site search and Keen Slider are gone.

September 3, 2026 — Update

  • Expanded the design system skill at .cursor/skills/molle-design/SKILL.md: typography, color usage, spacing rhythm, component conventions, and do/don’t rules extracted from the theme’s own code, so AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex) build UI that matches the theme.
  • AGENTS.md links the design rules in every variant.

August 15, 2026 — Update

  • Refreshed Astro + Tailwind CSS dependencies to latest stable releases.
  • Refreshed Astro + Sanity CMS variant dependencies (astro@7.2.2, Tailwind v4.3.3, Sanity v6.9.x, and related packages).
  • Updated integrations and related packages (@lexingtonthemes/seo, @astrojs/*, Tailwind).
  • Refreshed Astro + EmDash CMS variant dependencies (astro@7.2.2, Tailwind v4.3.3, EmDash v0.33.x, and related packages).

August 9, 2026 — Update

  • Added a new Astro + EmDash CMS variant (molle-emdash) with store catalog, blog, customer stories, and legal pages.
  • EmDash LiveSearch replaces Fuse.js for site-wide search (⌘K).
  • Cloudflare Workers deploy support (D1 + R2) with local SQLite dev workflow.

June 23, 2026 — Update

  • Upgraded to Astro v7 stable (7.0.0) — no longer on beta.
  • The Astro + Sanity CMS variant front-end has also been updated to Astro v7 stable.
  • Refreshed integrations and dependencies (@lexingtonthemes/seo, @astrojs/*, Tailwind).

June 11, 2026 — Update

  • Upgraded to Astro v7 and Tailwind CSS v4.
  • The Astro + Sanity CMS variant has been upgraded to Astro v7, Tailwind CSS v4, and Sanity v6.
  • Updated integrations and dependencies for v7 compatibility.

March 29, 2026 — Update

  • Added AGENTS.md and Cursor rules (.cursor/rules) for AI-assisted development, on both the Astro + Tailwind CSS and Astro + Sanity CMS versions, each adapted to its repo layout.

January 23, 2026 — Update

  • Added a new variant with Sanity CMS integration with a ready-to-use Sanity Studio and full Astro front-end support.
  • Introduced CMS-powered content types for editorial workflows.
  • Now available as part of the new Full Access and Agency tiers.

March 10, 2025 — Reset

  • Complete rebuild of the theme from scratch.
  • New UI, layout, and component architecture.
  • Added client-side search using Fuse.js.
  • Introduced a reusable component system.
