October 3, 2026 — Redesign

  • Studiomax is rebuilt from scratch as a model agency theme. A light, editorial site led by portraits, with a new look, new code and new copy.
  • New pages: home with a 3D row of model portraits, about with the agents, book a model, get scouted with three photo uploads, and a new 404.
  • New collections: models with measurements and a board with filters, campaigns with the models booked, services, a text only journal with topics, and legal pages.
  • Switzer on paper white with one grey and no accent colour, a six column grid, fully rounded buttons, a mega menu, a live Milan clock and Lenis smooth scroll.
  • Agency details, menus and agents live in src/data/studio.ts.
  • Rewritten README.md, AGENTS.md, Cursor rules and design skill (.cursor/skills/studiomax-design/) for the new system.
  • The work and team pages, sign in, sign up and the global search are gone.

September 3, 2026 — Update

  • Expanded the design system skill at .cursor/skills/studiomax-design/SKILL.md: typography, color usage, spacing rhythm, component conventions, and do/don’t rules extracted from the theme’s own code, so AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex) build UI that matches the theme.
  • AGENTS.md links the design rules in every variant.

August 10, 2026 — Update

  • Added a new variant with EmDash CMS integration — built-in admin panel for work, team, services, blog, and legal content.
  • Replaced Fuse.js with EmDash LiveSearch across posts, work, team, and services.
  • Cloudflare Workers deployment path (D1 + R2) included for production.

February 13, 2026 — Update

  • Added a new variant with Sanity CMS integration with a ready-to-use Sanity Studio and full Astro front-end support.
  • Introduced CMS-powered content types for editorial workflows.
  • Now available as part of the new Full Access and Agency tiers.

December 30, 2025 — Update

  • General improvements and internal refinements.
  • The Button component now handles link behavior via the isLink prop.
  • The Button component now supports configurable icon sizing.
  • Removed unused icons.
  • Removed the Link component.

August 15, 2026 — Update

  • Refreshed Astro + Tailwind CSS dependencies to latest stable releases.
  • Refreshed Astro + Sanity CMS variant dependencies (astro@7.2.2, Tailwind v4.3.3, Sanity v6.9.x, and related packages).
  • Updated integrations and related packages (@lexingtonthemes/seo, @astrojs/*, Tailwind).
  • Refreshed Astro + EmDash CMS variant dependencies (astro@7.2.2, Tailwind v4.3.3, EmDash v0.33.x, and related packages).

June 23, 2026 — Update

  • Upgraded to Astro v7 stable (7.0.0) — no longer on beta.
  • The Astro + Sanity CMS variant front-end has also been updated to Astro v7 stable.
  • Refreshed integrations and dependencies (@lexingtonthemes/seo, @astrojs/*, Tailwind).

June 11, 2026 — Update

  • Upgraded to Astro v7 and Tailwind CSS v4.
  • The Astro + Sanity CMS variant has been upgraded to Astro v7, Tailwind CSS v4, and Sanity v6.
  • Updated integrations and dependencies for v7 compatibility.

March 29, 2026 — Update

  • Added AGENTS.md and Cursor rules (.cursor/rules) for AI-assisted development, on both the Astro + Tailwind CSS and Astro + Sanity CMS versions, each adapted to its repo layout.

March 14, 2024 — Reset

  • Complete rebuild of the theme from scratch.
  • New UI, layout, and component architecture.
  • Added client-side search using Fuse.js.
  • Introduced a reusable component system.
