Ælen: the physiotherapy template that takes its time

Ælen is a theme for physiotherapy, sports rehab and wellness clinics that want to feel like a calm room rather than a hospital. Linen and birch, soft daylight photography and a mauve accent, with copy that explains things plainly, the way a physio would.

Why Ælen

  • Built for physiotherapy clinics, sports rehab and wellness studios
  • Pages for booking, prices, insurance and referrals, your first visit, classes and FAQ
  • An online booking page with treatment, physiotherapist, day and time pickers and a live summary
  • A weekly class schedule shared with each physiotherapist’s profile
  • An exercise library with area filters, sets, reps and step by step instructions
  • A first visit checklist, an insurance chooser and a click mega menu
  • Custom fine-line icons and free usage Nordic photography
  • Astro-fast performance with Lenis smooth scroll
  • SEO-ready with Astro SEO, Sitemap and RSS

Modern color system

Ælen’s palette is defined in OKLCH color tokens: linen, oatmeal and birch grounds with plum ink and a mauve accent, so a rebrand stays a one-file change in Tailwind CSS v4.

What you get

  • Astro v7 + Tailwind CSS v4 setup
  • Content collections for treatments, team, exercises, journal and legal pages, linked by references
  • Reusable sections, a style guide under /system and an AI design skill for Cursor, Claude Code and Codex
