Halden is a website template for apps whose landing page is told through scroll: one phone leaves the hero, settles into the features and carries on into how it works, with every page an app needs around it.
The style is light and clean: a white ground, charcoal Switzer headings with inline word chips, soft grey cards and glass navigation.
Why Halden
- Phone mockups built in HTML and Tailwind, not images: they scale to any size and keep real phone proportions
- Coded app screens inside the phones, and any of them can take a real screenshot instead
- A phone that travels down the page: it leaves the hero, settles into the features and moves on into how it works
- How it works pins on desktop and brings in each step with the scroll
- Pricing with a monthly and yearly toggle, a reviews carousel, an FAQ and App Store and Google Play buttons
- A changelog with a page per release, a help center by category, a blog and legal pages
- Static mode: add
?static to any URL and the whole site holds still
- Scroll motion throughout: the hero phones drift at different speeds, the logo marquee speeds up as you scroll and the reviews carousel blurs all but the active review, on Lenis smooth scrolling. Reduced motion is respected
- SEO-ready with Astro SEO, Sitemap, and RSS
Layout & Structure
Phone-led sections on soft grey cards, with one download action per block.
Releases, help articles and posts are ruled lists with dividers, so reading pages stay clean.
Style & colour
White, charcoal and one grey on the site, and one small accent only inside the app screens.
Every colour is a token, so making it yours is a few lines of CSS.
Halden is also available with Sanity CMS (Sanity Studio + monorepo) or EmDash CMS (built-in admin, Cloudflare deploy) for teams that need a visual editor without giving up Astro performance.
