Riflesso: the photo studio theme where the photography carries the colour

Riflesso is a template for photo studios and agencies that represent a few photographers. A near black page, small type on a four column grid and crop marks over every column: the pictures do the rest, and the motion does the fun.

Layout & Structure

Everything sits on one four column grid, from the navigation to the footer, where the studio name is set across the full width. Series, artists, films and posts are Markdown collections, so a new photographer is one file and a portrait.

Colour, your way

Four tokens: a near black ground, off white ink and two greys. The colour comes from the photographs; change a token in one file and the whole site follows.

Riflesso is also available with Sanity CMS (Sanity Studio + monorepo) or EmDash CMS (built-in admin, Cloudflare deploy) for studios that want a visual editor without giving up Astro performance.
